Applications will be reviewed by a panel of representatives of WellnessLiving (the “Judges”) representatives. All applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria to qualify for WellnessLiving’s #StandwithStudios Grant Program.
To Qualify:
Applicant is required to:
• Be the business owner or have signing authority for the business
• Be a legal resident of Canada or the USA.
• have their business in operation since February 2020 and be generating revenue.
• Acknowledge that their business is not under bankruptcy protection or does not have judicial liens or attachments.
• Upon request by WellnessLiving, each applicant must provide proof of their identity and any qualification as an eligible applicant. WellnessLiving reserves the right to disqualify any application where such proof is not provided upon request.
Business must:
• Offer fitness or wellness services.
• Be located within Canada or the United States of America.
• Have no more than 50 employees at the time of the submission.
• Individual franchisees are eligible.
• Have been in operation since February 2020; is generating revenue, and the business has a brick-and-mortar location that is currently in operation.
WellnessLiving shall determine, at its sole discretion, whether an entry meets the eligibility criteria to participate in the Program. WellnessLiving’s decisions regarding eligibility and all other aspects of the Program are final and binding.
Only one entry per “Eligible Small Business” will be accepted for the duration of the contest. All Applications received within the entire Application Period will be eligible for a chance to receive a maximum of one prize/grant package.
Prizes must be accepted as awarded, without substitution, transfer, exchange or assignment except in WellnessLiving’s sole and absolute discretion. WellnessLiving reserves the right to substitute a Prize in whole or in part. Winners are solely responsible for all costs not expressly described herein, including but not limited to termination of an existing service with a competitive software management platform.
WellnessLiving will attempt to contact each winner by email and/or telephone. To be confirmed a winner, the selected winner must:
1. respond to the telephone and/or email notification within two (2) business days of being contacted; and
2. review, sign and return, within the time frame specified, any and all agreements as required by WellnessLiving, including waivers, release agreement, release of liability and indemnity agreements and intellectual property licenses.
If a selected winner is deemed ineligible, WellnessLiving reserves the right to award the Prize to the entrant whose Application was awarded with the next highest score in accordance with the judging criteria in their sole discretion.
Application Entries and Submissions
All application entries (the “Entry(ies)”) become the property of WellnessLiving. WellnessLiving assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure of the website, for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by WellnessLiving on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from this application. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with or unlawful in any way. Entries submitted by unauthorized means or by spamming will be disqualified. In the event that it has been determined that an entry has been made in a manner not sanctioned by these rules and/or an entrant has submitted more than the number of entries permitted by these rules, the entrant and all of his/her entries will be disqualified. Entrants agree to abide by the application guidelines and the decisions of the judges, which are final. This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
You hereby warrant that your Entry is wholly original and that you are the copyright owner of the Entry.
You warrant that your Entry does not infringe or violate any intellectual property rights including copyrights and trade–marks, proprietary rights, privacy or publicity rights, or any other rights of any kind whatsoever including any federal, provincial or municipal laws. The Entry has not been created using any pirated or unlicensed content, or other materials that include copyrighted or trade-‐marked material that Contest Sponsors would not be entitled to use without a further payment to the intellectual property owner.
Privacy and Communications
By participating in this Contest, entrants consent to the use of their names, city of residence, photograph, voice and/or image for publicity purposes in all media used by WellnessLiving and their publication, Fitness Business Insider magazine, without payment or compensation. Entrants agree to WellnessLiving’s use of the entrants’ personal information that may include contacting you regarding limited time offers, promotional offers and/or surveys.
Application Entry Period
The #StandwithStudios application period begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) on August 1, 2022 and ends at 11:59pm EDT on December 15, 2022 (the “Application Period”). Winners will be selected throughout the contest period – see “Winner selection criteria” section for dates and number of winners.
Application Eligibility
The application is open to business owners who reside in Canada or the US and who have reached the age of majority according to the laws of the Province or State where they reside.
For-profit (including individual franchisee owners), not-for-profit and social enterprises are eligible to apply, however government organizations, municipalities and the chamber of commerce network are not considered eligible.
The application excludes employees of WellnessLiving, its affiliated companies, sponsors, its advertising and promotional agencies and members of their respective immediate households and any person domiciled with any of the above.
Applicants must be either:
1. the owner of the business or have full signing authority.
2. The applicant must have been in operation since February 2020, and still in operation at the time of application and receipt of prizing if awarded.
Upon request by WellnessLiving, each entrant must provide proof of their identity and qualification as an eligible entrant. Application may be disqualified where such proof is not provided upon request.
How to Apply
No purchase necessary. Entrants must apply in the following way:
1. Visit our #StandwithStudios website during the grant application period, and complete the initial online form.
2. A follow-up email will be sent to the entrant’s provided email address that includes additional application questions that will serve as the full entry.
No other form of participation is accepted. Only one entry per eligible business will be accepted for the duration of the contest. All Applications received within the entire Application Period will be eligible for a chance to receive a maximum of one (1) Grant.

There will be sixteen (16) winners selected in total throughout the contest period.

Cash Grant:
- $2,500 – $5,000 in funding per studio.
• Photo Shoot and feature article in Fitness Business Insider Magazine (estimated value: $4,000).
• WellnessLiving Business Plan FREE for a Year (estimated value: $2,000).
• Coaching Sessions with an industry expert.
#StandwithStudios Grant recipients will be announced at approximately 12:00 PM EST on the following dates:
- September 28, 2022: Two (2) studio owners
• October 27, 2022: Two (2) studio owners
• November 29th, 2022: Two (2) studio owners
• January 5th, 2022: Two (2) studio owners
• February 21st, 2022: Eight (8) studio owners

WellnessLiving reserves the right to substitute a Prize in whole or in part. Winners are solely responsible for all costs not expressly described herein. The Cash Grant is contingent on the Grantee subscribing to the Grantor’s Business Plan for use as the Grantee’s sole and exclusive Business management application. As part of the Grant Award, the Grantee shall receive twelve (12) months of paid subscription services to the Grantor’s Business Plan (the “Subscription”). If required, where the Grantee is currently a subscriber, the plan will be upgraded to the Business Plan. Grantees who are currently subscribers will be credited the next twelve (12) monthly subscription payments as paid.
Winner Selection Criteria
Applications will be reviewed by a panel composed of representatives of WellnessLiving (the “Judges”).
Winners will be selected based on the following judging criteria:
Grants are awarded based on participation in the program. Participation is measured in credits. Applicants with the most credits are selected as our top 100 finalists. To qualify for a #StandwithStudios Grant, applicants must complete and submit a grant application.
- 20 CREDITS for submitting part 1 of your application.
- 30 CREDITS for submitting part two of your application with business logo, business images, and profile image of applicant. The application must be filled out correctly, with accurate, clear, compelling, and engaging responses.
- 20 CREDITS for creating an intro video introducing yourself, your business, your entrepreneurial story, and answering the questions: what does ‘community’ mean to you and what role does it play in you managing and growing your business? Please submit your video to application@standwithstudios.com
- 20 CREDITS for attending a WellnessLiving product demo (Credits are already applied if the applicant is a WellnessLiving customer).
- 5 CREDITS for every LIVE webinar you attend.
- 10 CREDITS for accessing our Education Hub.
- 5 CREDITS for each WellnessLiving social media channel you follow or like us on (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram).
- 5 CREDITS every time you tag @WellnessLivingSoftware on Instagram in one of your social posts (maximum of 20 credits).
Top 100 finalists will be reviewed by a panel of WellnessLiving representatives, who will make their selection based on an evaluation of the submitted application and credits earned.
WellnessLiving will attempt to contact each winner by email and/or telephone. To be confirmed as a winner, the selected winner must respond to the telephone and/or email notification within two (2) business days of being contacted; and review, sign, and return, within the time frame, specified, all agreements as required by WellnessLiving, including waivers, release agreements, the release of liability and indemnity agreements, and intellectual property licenses.
Winners determined by WellnessLiving to be ineligible, for reasons including but not limited to failure to comply with the Grant Program Eligibility requirements, failure to be contacted, or respond to contact attempts will be disqualified.
If a selected winner is deemed ineligible, WellnessLiving reserves the right to award the Prize to the Applicant whose application was awarded the next highest score in accordance with the judging criteria at their sole discretion. WellnessLiving may, at their sole discretion, profile the confirmed winners and their applications in print, digital, electronic, mobile, and social media formats. (remove)of WellnessLiving. All confirmed Finalists hereby consent to a profile and publication of their Business in accordance with these guidelines and will use reasonable efforts to cooperate in the preparation of such profiles and publicity from WellnessLiving.
