The WellnessLiving #StandwithStudios Grant Program was created to support boutique fitness and wellness businesses with the resources they need to take their business to the next level and continue to positively impact their communities.
With the support of our valued brand partners and business coaches, we are committing up to $150,000 in grants, marketing support, software, and business education, to help drive your business forward.
16 studio owners who have demonstrated incredible strength, ingenuity, and passion will be awarded:
- $2,500 – $5,000 in funding per studio.
- Photo shoot and feature article in Fitness Business Insider Magazine (estimated value: $4,000).
- WellnessLiving Business Plan FREE for a year (estimated value: $2,000).
- Coaching sessions with an industry expert.
#StandwithStudios Grant recipients will be announced at approximately 12:00 PM EST on the following dates:
- September 28th, 2022: Two (2) studio owners
- October 27th, 2022: Two (2) studio owners
- November 29th, 2022: Two (2) studio owners
- January 5th, 2022: Two (2) studio owners
- February 21st, 2023: Eight (8) studio owners
Grant Program Eligibility
Applications will be reviewed by a panel of WellnessLiving representatives. All applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria to qualify for WellnessLiving’s #StandwithStudios Grant Program.
TO QUALIFY:
Applicant is required to:
- Be the business owner or have signing authority for the business.
- Be a legal resident of Canada or the USA.
- Have their business in operation since February 2020, and be generating revenue.
- Acknowledge that their business is not under bankruptcy protection or does not have judicial liens or attachments.
- Upon request by WellnessLiving, each applicant must provide proof of their identity and any qualification as an eligible applicant. WellnessLiving reserves the right to disqualify any application where such proof is not provided upon request.
Business must:
- Offer fitness or wellness services.
- Be located within Canada or the United States of America.
- Have no more than 50 employees at the time of the submission.
- Individual franchisees are eligible.
- Have been in operation since February 2020; be generating revenue, and the business have a brick-and-mortar location that is currently in operation.

Selection Criteria
Grants are awarded based on participation in the program. Participation is measured in credits. Applicants with the most credits are selected as our top 100 finalists. To qualify for a #StandwithStudios Grant, applicants must complete and submit a grant application.
- 20 CREDITS for submitting part 1 of your application.
- 30 CREDITS for submitting part 2 of your application with the business logo, business images, and profile image of the applicant. The application must be filled out correctly, with accurate, clear, compelling, and engaging responses.
- 20 CREDITS for creating an intro video introducing yourself, your business, and your entrepreneurial story, and answering the questions: what does ‘community’ mean to you, and what role does it play in managing and growing your business? - 20 CREDITS for attending a WellnessLiving product demo for applicants that are not WellnessLiving customers.

- 5 CREDITS for every LIVE webinar you attend. You will receive an email every time a new webinar date is released.
- 10 CREDITS for accessing our Education Hub.
- 5 CREDITS for each WellnessLiving social media channel you follow or like us on (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram).
- 5 CREDITS every time you tag @WellnessLivingSoftware on Instagram in one of your social posts (maximum of 20 credits).
The top 100 finalists will be reviewed by a panel of WellnessLiving representatives, who select the winners based on an evaluation of the submitted application and credits earned.
WellnessLiving will attempt to contact each winner by email and/or telephone. To be confirmed as a winner, the selected winner must respond to the telephone and/or email notification within two (2) business days of being contacted; and review, sign, and return, within the time frame, specified, all agreements as required by WellnessLiving, including waivers, release agreements, the release of liability and indemnity agreements, and intellectual property licenses.
Winners determined by WellnessLiving to be ineligible, for reasons including but not limited to failure to comply with the Grant Program Eligibility requirements, failure to be contacted, or failure to respond to contact attempts will be disqualified.
If a selected winner is deemed ineligible, WellnessLiving reserves the right to award the Prize to the Applicant whose application was awarded the next highest score in accordance with the judging criteria at their sole discretion. WellnessLiving may, at their sole discretion, profile the confirmed winners and their applications in print, digital, electronic, mobile, and social media formats. All confirmed Finalists hereby consent to a profile and publication of their Business in accordance with these guidelines and will use reasonable efforts to cooperate in the preparation of such profiles and publicity from WellnessLiving.
Getting Started
To get started, fill out Part 1 of the #StandwithStudios application form.
Once submitted, you’ll receive a email containing Part 2 of the application. After we receive your complete application a panel of WellnessLiving representatives will review each application and select winners based on:
- Eligibility. See full list of requirements.
- Your story, the impact your business is making in your local community, and how technology has transformed your business over the past 5 years.
- Participation in ON DEMAND learning sessions, LIVE webinars & LIVE events and coaching sessions.
- Social engagements and community support.
